Wortley High School will be visiting on the 9th of June 2009.
Wortley High School from Leeds is coming back with another group of students to participate in the activities offered by the WOW Academy. This is their third visit with a different group of students each time.

Johnny Ball Visits WOW Academy
British television legend, Johnny Ball has joined forces with the WOW Academy to celebrate the ongoing success of the ‘World of Wonder.’ The well loved childrens TV presenter was a regular fixture on television in the 1970s and 1980s, presenting programmes such as: Think of a Number; Think Again and Johnny Ball Reveals All.

Schools from across the country are flocking to visit the WOW Academy to experience the cutting-edge state of the art technology available within the centre. The WOW Academy is a unique educational training facility aimed at inspiring young people and employees to develop an interest in digital and creative media using state of the art technology.
